About
Scarlett is a soon-to-be graduate from Texas State University (August 2018) with a degree in Applied Sociology and a minor in Public Administration. She loves working with people and has an extensive background in customer service that was sparked in restaurant jobs and has branched into event coordinating, technical writing, and human resources.
Scarlett is dedicated to the advocacy of women's health care and safety. She volunteered with Planned Parenthood in the legislative action committee in 2015 and continues to support them and other organizations like: Magdalene House of Austin (opening Fall 2018), Meals on Wheels, and Austin Pets Alive.
Currently, Scarlett is working as an Event Intern with EVO Entertainment in Kyle, Texas. Here, she is helping to develop their new internship program by developing a handbook for future students. She is also contributing to business improvements through data analysis. Through this internship she is learning that the education does not stop at graduation and is thrilled to have the freedom to explore the skills required in the fields she is interested in.
